“Kirk Miles' poetry explores with humour and compassion the anxiety, joy and despair of the middle-aged male. Often off beat, his work can be hilariously funny and movingly tragic. From the hauntingly beautiful sadness of "Letter To Mom and Dad" to the comic eroticism of "On a Whimsically Adulterous Night With Batman's Wife", these poems are guaranteed to move you, amuse you, provoke you and confuse you.”
